This is Post 1 for Berichte – Main description.
The Front Page is simply that page which is shown if you give the top URL, e.g. http://www.example.com/ or . For this you may want a page look totally different to anything else, or you may want to just have intro content but the look is like another static page, or you may want to show the Blogs post index. For a unique look , you can define a file front-page.php, but is not necessary to include as follows.
The Home Page aka the Post Page or the Blog Post Index, is simply that page which shows the Blogs post index, ie a list of all Blogs on the site. For a unique look, you can define a file home.php, but is not necessary to include as follows.
